The Lockeford Springs Golf Course is an 18 hole daily fee golf course that is the finest golf destination in the San Joaquin Valley, located in Lodi, CA with an ideal backdrop of neighboring vineyards.  The golf course is a top-notch venue with excellent service and the most competitive rates in the area. The existing course was designed by Jim Summers and Sandy Tatum in 1995.

The golf club is a championship links-style course with undulating greens, hidden water hazards and majestic neighboring vineyards and comprises approximately 180 acres. Central California Golf Course publication quoted this course as “One of the finest, most beautiful golf courses in California .”

Golf Course Architects
The golf course was designed by the team of Jim Summers and Sandy Tatum. Lockeford Springs Golf Course is the result of an inspired collaboration between the distinguished golfing figures: Jim Summers, design craftsman and design expert,  Sandy Tatum. Sandy has served as past president of the USGA. He helped design the Links at Spanish Bay with Tom Watson and Robert Trent Jones Jr. and was responsible for the restoration and remodel at Cypress Point, Pebble Beach and San Francisco Golf Club.

Clubhouse & Offices
The Clubhouse is 12,800 square feet and includes a restaurant, dining area, commercial kitchen, golf shop, full bar and grill, large patio area, wedding and banquet facilities, and men’s and women’s locker rooms. There is also a separate 1,680 sf office building with a conference room, administrative offices, and work space.

Lockeford Springs has a number of annual membership plans.

Water
The water supply for the course is provided by a well on the property. The central control irrigation system is a Toro LTC with 58 controllers, value & heads, 1,300 heads. The output is 1,500 gallons per minute from the pump station.

Practice Facilities & Equipment
The club has a 13-acre driving range and complete practice facilities which include a chipping green and a 12,000 sf practice putting green. The seventy-five (75) electric Yamaha golf carts are owned.

Golf Course Improvements
Lockeford Springs is above average in design and layout for this type of course and the surrounding competitive market. From the back tees, the course rating is 73.3 with a slope of 128 and a length from the tips at 6,919 yards.
